About Me
Meet Dina Ramadan
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate | TX #96044
Supervised by Kristin Shanahan, M.A., LPC-Supervisor & Psychoanalyst
I am a licensed professional counselor associate in the state of Texas working in my hometown of Plano, TX. I’ve received comprehensive training and gained ample experience in working with a broad range of issues. Over the years, I have worked with individuals in various settings, including community outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals, an eating disorder partial hospitalization program, a domestic violence shelter, and private practice.
I am offering you a space to say whatever comes to your mind, without holding anything back. From there, we will gently begin to explore the patterns in your emotional responses and relationships, as well as, make meaning of behaviors that may feel automatic or hard to explain. I want to help you change how you think and feel about yourself & how you relate to others, by getting to the root of what’s shaping your patterns.
In my practice, I embrace a holistic approach to wellbeing, with a particular passion for the interconnected roles that nutrition, psychology, and our relationships play in our overall health.
My office is a warm, private space for you to feel at ease while sharing your story. We will process it together, and I’ll hold some of that heaviness for you until the next time we meet.

Prior to becoming a therapist, my educational journey began in the field of nutrition and functional medicine, where I learned to heal chronic illnesses by identifying and addressing their root causes, particularly through nutrition and lifestyle practices. I witnessed firsthand the emotional toll that physical ailments have on a patient’s life. This inspired me to pursue further education at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
